Things You Can Do With A Van You May Not Have Thought Of

When you’re in the market for a new car, most people start trying to decide if they want a sedan or hatchback, a sporty car or a more useful city car. It’s a conversation everyone has with themselves and it’s sort of exciting and also scary because if you get a new car, it’ll probably be a while until you get a new car again. Most people don’t get a ton of new cars all the time. So when you’re in the market for a new car, you have many things to consider. But what we’re here to tell you is that maybe you should consider getting a van. An actual van. Yes, we’re not talking a minivan like an Odyssey or a Caravan, but we’re talking a real big passenger van.

You may think we’re crazy, but we’re not. Here are some things you can do with your own van that you may never have thought of!

Drive for Touring Bands

You want to make some extra money and have a blast at the same time? You could offer to drive for touring bands in your van. These days, rental vans can be expensive, so bands are looking st save money while having an awesome time. If you offer your van and your self as a driver, and offer a good rate, many bands will want that since most bands at the van-driving level don’t have their own driver. Means the band members can drink to their heart’s content at the venue, knowing someone else is driving the car. It could not only be a good money maker for you, but a great chance to see the country and have some fun along the way. Don’t just go with any band though. Make sure they’re not total messes.

Free Stuff

You can also use your van to help and your buddies get free stuff. A lot of times on the internet when people post stuff in the ‘for free’ section, it’s free because it’s an item that is very difficult to move. So if you have the man power and the van power, you can get a lot of free stuff (not just pianos) for having a van. Sure you could rent a van, but if you do that every time you want to go curb shopping, that stuff doesn’t stay free for long. No, you should own a van, and then you can go at the drop of the hat and in the middle of the night. Think of all the fun stuff you could add to your house of clutter if you can just fill that van up with other people’s junk. You could probably get yourself a new pool table, a dozen or so pianos, and lots of other large objects that you and your friends can enjoy for ages and ages to come.

A van is a great get around town car too, so while you are using it for its luggage capacity, it can also be practical.
