Zero Harm Training may be referred to as a professional team that aims at providing protection, health and safe environmental facilities to all. It comprises of the particular training programs for business and construction trades that include the following:

CITB Health and Safety Awareness – This one hour duration course is meant for imparting risk assessment capabilities to the candidates. They undergo five steps related to Health and Safety Executive Publication and other materials. Certificate of Competence is awarded on completion of this particular course.

  IOSH – Known as the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health Safety Course, it is associated with safety and health concepts. This course is beneficial for the persons that are responsible to ensure safety of other employees. This four-five days course is meant to spot risks and their nature. Estimating, controlling the risks and human environmental protection are also covered under this course. It is associated with responsibility too.

First Aid – This short duration course consists of training in controlling bleeding, bandaging, asthma, choking and heart attacks etc. First aid is associated with usual workstation injuries and treatment of knocked out patients.

Ladder Safety – This particular course under Zero Harm Training is meant for imparting training for use of portable and step ladders by the staff and workers as well. Those applying for this course must have attained an age of sixteen years at the time of application.

  COSHH Awareness – This course is meant to educate the staff about the poisonous gases and fumes etc. The employees undergo this training that is meant for protection against hazardous elements. This half day course deals with protection techniques related to health assessment schemes and poisonous materials that exist at the work stations.

Other courses under the Zero Harm Training include NVQ L2 in plant operation, Asbestos Awareness, SQA Street Works and Abrasive Wheel Training etc.
