1. Disneyland

2. Venice Beach Boardwalk

The place is famous for its canals and its beachside promenades where every kind of street performers from fortune tellers, jugglers, acrobats and broken-glass walkers display their stuff; they have only become livelier and kids adore them. Together with the Manhattan Beach and Santa Monica Pier, Ocean Front Walk still remains one of the city’s authentic sea side experiences – complete with muscle beach, handball courts, and penny-squishing machines. 3. Rodeo Drive
It has a reputation of elegant boutiques and only women are allowed on this stretch presumably. The street is dotted with numerous fashion brands from Gucci to the new release of Tom Ford but they mostly seem like just advertisements all competing for the attention of the rich and famous, which are in turn sought after by masses of celebrity watchers. The street could however do with less tour buses and more side walk cafes.
4. Hollywood Walk of Fame
The Hollywood sign is easily recognized around the world as a symbol of Los Angeles as a whole and more specifically its entertainment industry. It was constructed in 1923 as an AD for a housing project that was not to be. Millions walk this storied pavement, to behold the 2,454 black squares with coral stars – entire families taking pictures lying down on the ground. The squares act as avatars for those they were meant to honour. The dream of the visitor s is to catch a glimpse of a real star dashing in Hollywood’s Roosevelt in Hollywood’s heated up bar scene. To guarantee sighting one, attend the Walk of Fame star presentation, which is open to the public. In the middle of La Brea and Gower Aves, along Hollywood Blvd., and between Yucca St. and Sunset Blvd. along Vine St.
5. Getty Centre
The Getty Museum opened its main Branch, the Getty Centre, in Pacific Pallisades in 1997 and its affiliate, the Getty Vila in Malibu, in 2006. The museum has a rich collection of Greek and Roman art and takes its own model from a Roman seaside villa. The villa has an extensive collection of modern art from ancient times to present, with particular strengths in alchemical texts, Italian futurism, Russian Modernism, Japanese avante garde art and artist’s sketchbooks and letters throughout the ages. The centre’s school features many garden spaces, pools and fountains as well as sculptures.
